Rewind 30 years, and how would you go about finding a new job? Chances are you’d put your coat on, take a brisk walk to your local newsagents, grab a coffee and take a seat with your favourite local newspaper; circling the ads that suited you best.

Invariably your CV would be handwritten, folded neatly into a manila envelope and sent off by post to your prospective employer. To most people under the age of 30 this may seem like an alien concept and provoke the question… how on earth did anybody get anything done?
